Prior to joining Plougmann & Vingtoft, Jakob has been working as a post.doc on research projects relating to molecular single-molecule-detection tools in the field of cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy at the Institute of health sciences, University of Aarhus. Jakob is a named co-inventor on several pending patent applications in the field of single molecule detection tools.
Jakob has worked with inventors, universities, hospitals and technology transfer offices throughout Scandinavia within the areas of molecular biology, medicine, food technology and medical devices.
In addition, Jakob is an experienced patent search analyst, with experience in patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analysis (FTO), patent surveillances and due diligence analysis. Furthermore, Jakob has experience in setting up customized patent searches based in customer requirements.
Furthermore, Jakob works for international companies in the fields of life science, food and agricultural technology.
