Søren has 8 years of working and management experience in the field of aquaculture.
Prior to joining Plougmann & Vingtoft, Søren worked three years as a medicinal chemist at the biotech company ReceptIcon where he gained extensive knowledge of nephrotoxicity. His work resulted in a patent application on megalin antagonists.
Søren holds a M.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry that covers knowledge on not only organic chemistry, but also anatomy, physiology and pharmacology. In his master thesis, he worked on developing antagonists to cocaine’s actions on the central nervous system, which led to three publications.
He specializes in IPR related Risk Assessment and Freedom-To-Operate searches, as well as drafting and prosecution of patent applications. He also does crash courses in IPR at Aarhus Entrepreneurship Centre.
