Brian has special expertise within the areas of electronics, optics, control engineering and electromechanical transducers, in particular piezoelectric transducers.
Prior to joining Plougmann & Vingtoft in 2005, Brian worked with development of opto-mechanical systems for Computer-to-Plate (CTP) printers. Before that he worked with research within the field of piezoelectric motors in connection with a Ph.D. position at Aalborg University.
Brian has helped customers achieve patent rights for high-tech inventions as well as simple consumer products within different technical fields.
Brian also has great experience within patent searches such as patent invalidation searches. Furthermore, he has experience with patent litigation in Denmark and assessment of infringement.
