David has been working as a patent attorney for more than 13 years and has recently lived 3 years in the Netherlands successfully building up a patent operation for one of Europe’s biggest IP companies.

David’s clients range from smaller businesses and start-ups to some of the world’s largest companies.

David has extensive expertise within IT and software related areas including digital rights management, augmented reality, encryption, computer graphics, and mobile networks and phones, as well as oil & gas, medical devices, packaging, food processing, optics and physics.

He deals with IP matters such as drafting and prosecution, infringement, valuation, freedom-to-operate, and invalidating and defending patents before the European Patent Office (EPO) and a number of other countries.

David has successfully completed the ‘Patent Litigation in Europe’ diploma course at the University of Strasbourg.
