Thomas has expertise within the areas of electromechanical devices and systems, electronics and manufacturing processes. Core technical areas are within material handling and wind turbine generators. Besides Danish, Thomas is fluent in German and English.
Prior to entering the IP profession in 2003, Thomas worked seven years with industrial product and system development, manufacturing and commercialization. He is providing advice to clients with respect to how and when to act towards patent authorities as well as advising clients in IPR matters in relation to their suppliers, partners, employees, customers and competitors.
Thomas is experienced in novelty searches and patentability evaluations of inventions, drafting and prosecuting of patent applications, validity and infringement opinions. Furthermore, he is experienced in freedom to operate searches and assessments as well as selection and use of rights for enforcement actions, such as litigation, in various countries, mainly in Europe.
