We are very proud to again being able to announce that our company has been ranked in the distinguished category, ‘Tier 1’, in the independent global IP study ‘World IP Survey’.
For the 11th year in a row, Plougmann Vingtoft is thus recognized as one of Denmark’s leading IP firms in the category “Patent Prosecution”, which describes the work carried out with companies’ inventions before and after patenting – including oral and written negotiations with the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich.
Here are some words used in IP Stars’ independent firm review to describe our company:

‘Managing Intellectual Property’ (MIP) is the ranking institute behind the selection of the world’s leading IP firms and IP advisors. The ranking is based upon publicly accessible information, i.e. comprehensive questionnaire surveys in which the companies forward their work highlights, and thorough 1:1 interviews with professionals and patent clients from the industry.
For this reason, MIP World IP Survey is considered to be the most thorough and acknowledged survey within the IP industry.
Besides categorizing the world’s IP firms into “tiers”, the MIP researchers also make a list of the so-called ‘IP Stars’, which are the advisors they consider to be leading experts within specific legal areas.

It is also worth mentioning, that several of other IP attorneys have been singled out in the ‘World IP Survey’ by market commentators, namely Per Jørgen Nygreen, Katja Sørensen, Thomas Nygaard, Jakob Schwalbe Lohmann and Andreas Lauge Christensen.
In addition, our Head of Trademarks Ellen Breddam is appointed a Trademark IP Star. Ellen and her team have received the following words of praise:
