Three examiners from the European Patent Office (EPO) and their Director Vagn Nissen, will visit Plougmann Vingtoft and give a presentation of various topics relating to EPO’s practice within the food and nutrition field.
They will provide us with the latest insights with respect to:
- Art. 123(2) EPC (combination of ranges e.g. concentrations of different ingredients A, B, C and D and basis therefore)
- Art. 56 and 83 EPC (evidence necessary to cover broad claims, data needed for sufficient disclosure, second medical use claims)
- Changes to the 2017 Guidelines for Examination
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 5 September, 9:30-11.30 A.M. at Plougmann Vingtoft’s premisses:
