Managing IP has recently published the annual list of highly recommended patent practitioners – the IP Patent Stars – which marks the end of the English magazine’s independent research for 2017 with more than 4,500 IP practitioners being surveyed.
The IP Stars list supplements the firm MIP rankings by providing information on the firm’s key strengths and individuals, and it is worth noting that the Managing IP Stars only list firms or individuals with a credible IP practice and recommendations from market commentators including competitors and clients.
Again this year, Plougmann Vingtoft proudly receives top recommendations! In the editorial of the IP Stars analysis, Plougmann Vingtoft is described as:
Managing IP’s Danish Firm of the Year (2017) for prosecution work. The firm is well known in the Scandinavian region, with additional offices in Munich and Madrid. The Danish patent team covers a range of technical fields, notably life sciences, chemistry and engineering. Plougmann Vingtoft’s “patent applications are diligently worked out”, according to one client. “I trust their procedures and quality,” the client adds.
We are pleased to announce that our three IP Patent Stars continue to shine brightly, and this year additionally many other of our experienced patent attorneys have been recommended individually in the IP Stars Patent Handbook, including two of our young and talented patent attorneys.
This further emphasizes our commitment to educating new IP professionals which is key to us in living our strong vision to make a difference by strengthening knowledge, innovation and creativity in society.
The IP Stars editorial sums up the analysis and comments from clients, competitors and industry experts regarding the work of our patent attorneys as follows:
Kim Wagner and Peter Sørensen are two highly recommended patent attorneys in the team. Wagner is respected in contentious EPO proceedings. “Peter Sørensen is extremely customer-oriented and adept at understanding our needs and customising prosecution strategy to our needs,” says another client. Per Jørgen Nygreen, Katja Sørensen and Thomas Nygaard are also recommended in their respective fields. Says another client: “We are extremely satisfied with the professional and expedient service that we received from them.” Rising stars to watch are Andreas Lauge Christensen and Jakob Schwalbe Lohmann, who is commended for his drafting skills. Recent patent case studies show the firm is acting for companies such as Bayer, Vestas, Grundfos and Toms.
