Plougmann Vingtoft expands by adding on attorney-at-law competencies

From January 2018, Plougmann Vingtoft is expanding its already extensive range of IPR services by establishing a strategic partnership with Plougmann Vingtoft Advokatanpartsselskab (PV Legal). The collaboration with PV Legal means that Plougmann Vingtoft can now also offer its clients legal assistance and be the sole representative for clients in conflict and litigation cases regarding IP rights before the Danish court, primarily in the fields of trademark and design.

The close collaboration also has the bonus that Plougmann Vingtoft’s customers can also get specialist advice on the conclusion of commercially important contracts and agreements, such as licensing and development agreements and/or cooperation and research agreements.

Heading the new law firm is one of Denmark’s top specialists within intellectual property law, Attorney-at-Law Lars Karnøe (see top photo), and in the long term, PV Legal plans further expansion.

Lars Karnøe, who is living in Aarhus, will be based at Plougmann Vingtoft’s office location in Aarhus, but will of course be at service to all of our clients in close cooperation with the IP experts working from our other locations.

Lars comes from a position as Senior Counsel at the international law firm Bird & Bird, and he contributes with unique competencies regarding counselling on IP rights, from the very conception of the idea itself, over establishment to enforcement of the rights. In addition, Lars has the right to appear before the Danish Supreme Court, and he serves as an arbitrator at international courts of arbitration. He brings his more than 20 years’ experience to PV Legal in conducting cases for companies in complex IP disputes and litigations.

If you would like to know more about PV Legal services, and how we can assist your company, you are more than welcome to contact Head of PV Legal Lars Karnøe or CEO of Plougmann Vingtoft Annette Siewert Lindgreen.
