Proudly presenting yet another European Patent Attorney

Congratulations to Thomas Nygaard who has recently passed the prestigious European Qualifying Examination (EQE) and has thus achieved the much sought after European Patent Attorney degree. With his new title comes the right to represent clients at the European Patent Office (EPO).


Thomas has already yearlong experience dealing with IP-related issues and entered the IP profession in 2003 after working seven years with industrial product and system development.

Thomas specializes in novelty searches and patentability evaluations of inventions, drafting and prosecuting of patent applications, validity and infringement opinions. In addition, he is experienced in freedom to operate searches and assessments as well as selection and use of rights for enforcement actions, such as litigation, in various countries, mainly in Europe.
