Nanna is a European Trademark & Design Attorney and advises clients on the protection, enforcement, and strategic use of trademarks and designs at national, European, and international levels.
Nanna holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Copenhagen, where she specialised in intellectual property law, and has more than 13 years of experience from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO). During her time there, she was responsible for international trademarks and developed extensive expertise in the Madrid System through her work with international registrations and participation in meetings at WIPO.
In addition, Nanna was responsible for the design area and represented Denmark in the negotiations on the European design reform in Brussels.
A significant part of Nanna’s work at the Danish Patent and Trademark Office had an international focus. She participated in European cooperation projects and working groups under EUIPO aimed at harmonising trademark and design practice. She also delivered presentations and provided training on European trademark and design law for a number of foreign IP offices.
At Plougmann Vingtoft, Nanna provides strategic advice on trademark and design protection, including national and international applications, clearance searches, assessment of registrability, portfolio management, and the handling of opposition proceedings, invalidity actions, and other disputes.
Nanna is fluent in Danish and English.
