Sif is part of the Technology & Software team at Plougmann Vingtoft and advises clients across a broad range of technologies, with particular expertise within mechanical engineering and medical technology.

With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Sif combines a strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial technologies with specialized knowledge of medical devices, diagnostics, biomechanics, and healthcare technologies.

Through her Industrial PhD in Biomechanics and Mechanobiology, Sif specialized in the interaction between medical devices and biological tissue, gaining extensive experience with experimental testing, material characterization, advanced imaging and microscopy techniques, and in silico modelling.

As such, her practice spans a broad range of technologies, within mechanical engineering, medical technology, diagnostics, and computer-implemented inventions.

Sif works with all aspects of intellectual property, including patentability assessments, patent drafting and prosecution, freedom-to-operate analyses, and strategic IP counselling.

Sif is fluent in Danish and English.
