At Plougmann Vingtoft, we are focused on implementing socially responsible business practices in our interaction with clients, employees and communities.
While we recognize that the impact of in-house initiatives within our office may be limited, we firmly believe that our work contributes to positive change in the world. By assisting our clients in driving new, sustainable technologies to market, we actively participate in global progress.
Unites Nations’ 17 sustainable development goals
As part of our commitment to social responsibility, Plougmann Vingtoft supports the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals address critical global challenges, and we align our daily business activities and development efforts with them. Our aim is to create a meaningful impact by contributing to these essential objectives. Here are two examples of how we support UN’s SDGs:
- DI’s Diversity Pledge
In line with the UN SDGs, we actively work towards gender equality in the workplace. In 2021, we signed the Confederation of Danish Industry’s Gender Diversity Pledge, which later evolved into DI’s Diversity Pledge. This initiative encompasses 16 principles aimed at creating greater diversity in the Danish labor market by 2030. Explore the complete set of principles here.
- IP Matters
Through our annual donation program, IP Matters, we support start-ups with sustainable ideas. Each year, we select one or more start-ups whose solutions directly impact one or several of the UN SDGs. We provide expert consulting to help them succeed. Learn more about IP Matters here.
